It's the most important day in David's life. He has a $10.000.000 deal with a Japanese Holding and it's all or nothing today.
Everything seems to turn out perfectly well, until... TRAILER: https://vimeo.com/176306847 Sundance award-winning editor James Scott’s documentary directorial debut Love Bite chronicles artist Laurie Lipton’s life and prolific body of black & white work spanning over fifty years. No one on the planet has drawn more than Laurie Lipton. With millions of tiny strokes of her humble pencil, Laurie’s haunted images seek answers to some of the most uncomfortable themes in our culture - fear, politics, sexuality, murder, mayhem, greed, and indifference. But what compels her to live a life of isolation drawing is neither black nor white. |

He was given a chance to make himself heard Trailer: https://vimeo.com/204812224 Enter the fiery world of flow arts A day in the life of a pigeon. This story chronicles the complex relationship between a middle aged woman named Penny and her ex-husband, now a transgender woman name Dee. Although the two are no longer married, they remain best friends and neighbors in the same apartment building. Penny actively supports Dee's blooming exploration into womanhood and her attempts to relaunch her acting career as a woman. Although it is clear that the two women love and care for one another, their relationship comes with it's own set of unique challenges. Video art project 'beweistheorie I' ("proof theory", term of David Hilbert) refers to the time of radical changes in understanding of mathematical axioms - foundational crisis in the beginning of 20th century. Exactly at the same time art was loosing ground of realistic depiction and there was started a revolutionary era of modernism - suprematism, dada, surrealism, etc. Curiously, both areas (art and math) haven't resolve its foundational problems till present. After finding an abandoned bag, a man must traverse through Los Angeles to return it while possibly finding love. It seems as though the people closest to you will hurt you the most. And often times their pain came from someone close. The happy life of a Syrian kid alters instantly with the sudden war and he finds himself in a state of struggle. The war changes not only lives, but also the role of his box; first as a carefully built toy house, then as a place to take shelter in a refugee camp with full of dangers and finally as a boat that sails for a journey towards hope. A young enters the elevator and finds out that he goes into a strange place... |

When his grandfather passes, a young Haida boy decides to finish the totem pole that they had started, using the memories that they had together.
A short profile documentary about a man's life and journey through love, loss and illness. On a seemingly ordinary commute in San Francisco, a woman finds herself on a journey of terror aboard a mysterious streetcar. A story of a friendship between a cat and a dog, despite their differences V / O is a solo project of Wojtek Urbanski, a music producer and co-founder of project "Rysy" . The distinctive style define the rough and strong rhythm combined with strong emotions in a layer of melody . The single ' ID ' is scheduled for June, and music video was shot by Filip Załuska ( author of the acclaimed video for the song " Fib " by duo Rysy ) An innocent birthday party turns primal when an mysterious guest congratulates the birthday girl. This second collaboration with musical stalwarts James, "Dear John", is award winning director Péter Vácz ' most ambitious project to date. Experimenting with lighting and a variety of animation techniques to great effect, the music video tells the story of two characters on a surreal and life-changing journey. We see how this effects their relationship and how they come to accept a beautiful transformation. In this promo, the young director also evolved his style further to include some linear 2D animation alongside the emotive and richly textured stop motion characters and sets. In this Freudian short film, Tim confronts anthropomorphic manifestations of his Ego, Id and Superego to discuss the devastating breakup with his ex girlfriend. Alexander Black gained 40 pounds (20 kilos) and then lost them and gained 15 pounds (7 kilos) of muscle in order to play both Tim, who is overweight, and Tim's Ego, who is in great shape. Due to the physical transformational demands of this project, this film was shot in 2 days, 1 year apart. This film has set a cinematic precedent in terms of it being the first film in history where the same actor interacts with himself as 2 completely different body types (without the use of makeup, prosthetics or special effects). The plight of the 152 million orphans around the world can begin to turn around by teaching them about human rights. A short film about being immersed in a dream. Wandering through a dream trying to grasp each moment as it quickly slips through your fingers. Playing memories in your head over and over again hoping to relive that salty sea air grazing your cheek. Hearing the sound of the crashing waves singing like a church choir. That feeling when you are so absorbed into the moment that you feel your heart beating while remembering to catch your breath between moments. All to get lost in memory like a fleeting dream. Going out on the town can make you lose your head A girl walks home in the middle of the night. In one of the streets around her she finds a rocking chair that catches her attention. The girl, attracted by curiosity, gets closer to touch and rock it. That little gesture will wake up something... A quirky love story between George, Alma and some oranges. |

An astronaut is stranded, traversing snowcapped peaks and endless black-sand plains, desperately searching for a way to survive, when he stumbles upon an unexpected fate.
Two strangers (2016 Tony winner Reed Birney and newcomer Blake DeLong) bring the laughs as they confront and resolve one of the most insidious scourges afflicting mankind - while standing at public urinals with their willies out. The first film by ubiquitous character actor Fredric Lehne. A cathartic performance, Enough is about the intimate and personal struggle of confronting the effects of the societal objectification of the female form. The filmmaker exposes herself presenting her body for the viewers to place judgment. Sexual, vulnerable, shameful: the female body is quickly judged. The performance represents an opposition to the treatment of woman and assessment of her value based on her appearance. Removing a social symbol of her femininity and beauty the filmmaker demands transcendence, a change in the tides, a rebirth, a renewal – there has been enough. A man's left hand takes on a life of its own and plays increasingly sinister practical jokes upon him. His holiday in Edinburgh, Scotland, becomes a fight for survival....against himself. Ana spends her lonely days revisiting memories from a lost love. But the sudden arrival of unexpected guests turns things upside down. “Being Seen” will change the way you see people with developmental disabilities. A combination of funny, acerbic, and heart-wrenching, these people’s candid and articulate self-awareness quickly shatter preconceptions of the disabled. “Being Seen” explores the poorly understood subculture of people living with "developmental disabilities." Bay Area filmmakers, Paul Zehrer and Chikara Motomura, spent over three years following individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Bay Area, exploring how this population thinks about themselves and the world. Rather than being defined by others or their diagnosis, individuals (young and old) strive to create meaningful lives, meet adversity, and dream of their futures. |
