Tyler Smith
Tyler is the co-host of Battleship Pretension, a long-running movie podcast, and More Than One Lesson, an award-nominated Christian podcast. He has a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Film, where he specialized in writing, directing, and critical studies. He has worked in Hollywood as a production assistant, researcher, writer, and script consultant. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jenny. |
Tory Nelson
When Tory was 8 he made action-musical epics with action figures and his mom's camera. Today as an emerging young director in the music video, travel video, and commercial worlds he brings a strong sense for collaboration and creative visual style to his work. He has directed internationally in Nairobi, Kenya and continues to travel frequently for his work. Commercial clients include Walmart and Dove, most recently directed a national television commercial. Tory was last at the Sunset Film Festival with his music video “Ocean”, which won Best Music Video in 2014. “Ocean” stars Kathryn McCormick (“Step Up Revolution,” “So You Think You Can Dance”) and went on to win 7 awards and play at 12 festivals. Tory honed his skills directing short films which have been received by numerous national and international film festivals, picking up many awards along the way. He is currently developing his next project which will be a feature film. He currently resides in Los Angeles. |
Brian Dillon
Brian has worked in independent cinema for over a decade, co-writing and producing the feature film Lisl and the Lorlok (winner - Best Feature and Best Actor, 2011 Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema), as well writing/directing the dark feature drama Thursday’s Lovers. Recently, Brian has helped produce Ignatius Fischer’s award-winning (2nd Place - Best Webseries - 2013 Sunset Film Festival) fantasy web-series Freelancers, as well as penning film adaptations for Penguin/Random House subsidiaries such as Author House, iUniverse and Xlibris.

David Brown
David is a Venice, CA based film maker and draftsman. A life long admirer of cinema he received his BA from the New York University School of Film and TV production. E.M. Spairow
Michigan native E.M. Spairow graduated from the American Film Institute Conservatory where she was awarded the Philip and Patricia Barry Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Screenwriting. That same year, her dramatic short, HOOKED, won the 2010 Unlikely Hero Productions Screenplay Competition. Spairow’s directorial debut, DEFAULT, a dystopian sci-fi short, celebrated its world premiere at the 2014 Central Michigan International Film Festival. The film also won Best Local (L.A.) Film at the 2014 Sunset Film Festival Los Angeles, and is an official 2014 Athens Film + Video Festival selection. ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM, a short dark comedy, is currently in post-production. Robert Rønning
is a Norwegian film director known for Sorg, Skriften på veggen and Sandslottet. In March 2014 he was awarded a Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival for his short film Den siste dansen. The same year his short film trilogy Skriften på veggen made the headline news in Norway because of his choice of lead actresses. His short documentary Veien mot drømmekroppen quickly became a YouTube hit on it's release in 2013. In addition to films he has also directed numerous commercials and music videos. In 2015 he directed the music video for Alexandra Joner's contribution to the Norwegian finale of Eurovision Song Contest, “Cinderella". In 2016 he will finalize his first feature length documentary Crohnprinsessen, a film about Ingrid Anette Hoff Melkersen who in 1998 was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. He has begun work on his first feature film Rabiat, with an estimated release in 2018. |
Elysia Rotaru
For over a decade, Elysia Rotaru has landed numerous leads and guest star roles in both television series and films. A few of her credits include The CW’s Smallville, Hellcats, iZombie, and Supernatural, and the Warner Brothers feature film Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. Elysia has recurred in The CW's Arrow, where she played Stephen Amell’s love interest as “Taiana Venediktov”, and starred as “Alicia Guerrero” alongside the legendary, Danny Trejo in the Universal Studios feature film, Dead Again in Tombstone. You can also see her in the new Liam Neeson film, Cold Pursuit. When Elysia is not in front of the camera, meeting fans at Comic Conventions around the world, or producing award winning films, she is lending her voice to numerous animations and video games including, Fifa 19, Need for Speed, Lone Echo Compact, My Little Pony, Nina's World, and Lego Star Wars, and commercial clients including Nordstrom and McDonald’s to name a few, and most recently was the voice of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018. As a leading professional in her craft and a well recognized member of the artistic community, Elysia Rotaru is on the rise on-screen, off-screen and in the sound booth.
